My Chevelle's 427 is a push rod and she spins to 7200 and thats before the 8k redline. I have not had the flooring issue but Nissan has been known to put limiters in the ECU for WOT. The 03-04 Skyline sedans suffer from this badly. During WOT the butterfly closes nearly 20% and kills their power.
