We just emerged from a couple of weeks of below zero temps. The tire pressure lights were on the entire time. They went off after the temp return to the 20-30 rangs. The SERVICE ENGINE lite was also on during the lowest of temps, and then also shut off in the 20's and 30's.
The tailgate would not close when it got in the -20's. Quite exciting (ow) when you open the ARE fiberglass cover and the gate nails you in the chest.
Truck was pretty stiff when mega cold, but Mobil 1 keeps the motor ticking!

I have had problems with the warning light not going out. The dealer replaced it once, saying it was defective. Now the temp dropped and it came back on again! Tire pressures are fine. Will have dealer check again when I bring it in for service!

My 2004 Titan does the same thing, it gets below 25 and the light comes on, when it warms up to around 50 it goes off. The dealer said there was problems with the sensors and they would have to be replaced, every time i want to take it back, the light goes out, they said the light has to be on for the warranty????????

bobh55 - Check your tire pressure gage and make sure it is accurate. I was having the same problem, but found my tire gage was inaccurate. See my post on page one of this forum. Also repeated below.
Problem solved. My tire pressure gage was not accurate. If you have a pressure gage that has a rod that protrudes out the bottom and shows a linear scale of pressure make sure you hold it so the rod points upwards. Gravity was effecting my gage and it indicated a higher pressure than was actually in the tire. Once I re-adjusted my tires to about 36 psi and drove a mile or two the low pressure light went out.
I have not had any problems since. We have had some very cold days since that time (January 6th 2005) here in eastern PA.

my tire pressure gauges where removed becuase they all broke due to a
fusing of an after market cap to the stem but that is besides the
point. before this happened I noticed the light come on when
gping around a corner kinda hard well i couldn't check the pressure
cuase of the afore mentioned problem but when I had new tires put on
teh pressure guages where removed and funny thing is the light still
comes on around turns. hmmmmmm so is it even working in the first
place. Mine did go off once on a very cold morningwell below
freezing but they had dropped to 26 lbs so i filled to 35 and no
problems since. Makes you wonder with all the brake problems with
these trucks if they screwed something up on mine taking the damn tires
on and off the more than 7 times in 1 and a half years i had it.

I have aftermarket wheels on mine and didn't put the sensors in the new wheels. After a ~35-40 miles, my light will come on. This is crazy b/c the sensors are passive until the psi drops then they send out a signal to trigger the light. If the factory wheels 35 miles away...why does the freeking light keep comeing on???
I think it is a glitch!!!

Has to be...my tire pressures are all fine, and the light stays on. The alarm also kicks in occasionally, just to keep me alert.....

I've had this problem on my 04 when the temperature drops below freezing. Last time had the dealer ck it. He says the tires were low by 4 lbs. Seems to have worked. I'm going to get a new dial gauge and keep an eye on it. Nissan, if you're listening, make this feature optional.

I have made a post earlier about this thing. I was having constant tire pressure loss on 3 tires, and when they were checked, it looks as though as the seal around the sensor was giving way. They tire guy said that he thought the sensor itself was too big, causing the problem.
