"I drove over a 1/4" drill bit "
Yes Mr. Masters, I think that would do it.

Am I correct in assuming that an audible alarm is attached to your LTPWS? That's not the case with mine. A false alarm would be very annoying.

Yes, as soon as the light came on, the foghorn began to go off.

I have a 04 LE. I too have seen the light & have been put back on the path to righteous air pressure. No harp, no nada.

Mine came on once when I bumped a curb, so I checked the pressure and all my tires were at 30psi (so much for pre-delivery) I bumped them up to 35psi (THE RECOMMENDED PRESSURE) and the light went out. I don't consider this a problem (so I didn't vote in the poll), I consider it a system on the truck that worked as advertised.
As for the guy running 33psi, maybe he should bring them up to recommended pressure and maybe his light will go off. 35psi is hardly overinflated. The 18" Goodyears have a max pressure of 44 psi at max load.
And as far as adding $1000 to $1500 to the cost of the truck......where in the heck did you get that number? It's not an option, it's standard equipment on the '04.
Jesus, if you have that many problems with the truck, tire pressure sensors, door handles, windows, brakes, rusty diff covers, etc.... trade it in on a less capable, slower, self-destructing F150.
Sorry to rant, but I get SOOOOO tired of people grousing about these trucks. If you don't like it, THEN TRADE IT IN ON SOMETHING ELSE.
Again, sorry
Rick

Excuse me if I have offended you...but I thought this was a place to discuss the Titan...good and/or bad...I posted this poll to see how many were having problems such as I have had....as for my $1000 to $1500 cost estimate, I made a guess on that, yes it was standard equipment, but NISSAN didn't give it to us free, we paid for it...going on the price of parts these days I made a rough guess as to what this would cost...if you feel I am off in the price, it would be interesting if you went to your dealer and priced all the components involved in this system...wanna bet on the total cost ? As for your other comments evidently you have not had any problems with your truck...if that's the case then I envy you...since I was on here last time mine has been to the shop twice for a drivers door that will not latch back after opening on bitter cold mornings, first time they kept it a week and a day to replace both door latchs, one week later same thing again...kinda hard not to bash a truck like this...don't get me wrong, I love this truck but all these problems are very aggravating..this is my 3rd NISSAN in the last 7 years and this one has been back to the dealer more in 4 months than the other 2 did in 7 years total !!!! As for trading I have been considering a 2005 Frontier !!!!

When I had my truck in last for the brakes they checked out the wheel sensors and told me that they weren't activated. That would explain why they didn't work when one went flat. I don't know if that would explain the false reading I got one night.

Did they bother to mention HOW you activate them?? Did I miss something in the owner's manual?
