I took my 2004 in today for the front brake shimmying(5100 miles). The problem will be fixed and Nissan has extended the warranty on the brake problem for 100,000 miles.

How that? Care to elaborate on the extended brake warranty? Sounds great!

The problems with the vibrations and the front brakes are now cover until 100,000 miles. Normal wear is not covered. All of the problems with my truck, nissan has covered. Much better than the big three(gm,ford, dodge) always blaming the problem on the owner.

Did they say what was causing this problem I have 7900 miles and it is shaking pretty bad. I was thinking about replacing the rottors with some vented slotted rottors but I'm currous if this will help. And has anybody had any experience with the ones that are all over E-Bay the 4 rottors for 350?

I took mine by the dealer on thursday to make a appointment to get it fixed. They took it right in. They redid the calipers, put on new pads (they said they were made of a new material that handles the heat better), new rottors (mine were to warped to resurface), and a upgraded caliper bolt set. stops great now.

WheelinJeeper, is this the "brake kit"? I just had my rotors resurfaced for the first time on Friday at 13,300 miles. It was shaking pretty bad, and now it stops well. The service rep told me that they ordered a "brake kit" for it, but that the kit was just a band-aid until a real fix is out. I'm just kind of curious. Thanks!

My truck is going in this friday to have the brake work done, however I am not sure what I have in store as for a fix. I was also intersted in the post about Nissan buying back that persons truck under lemon law, so I spoke with a lemon law attorney here in Pittsburgh this morning, he said that they have had several cases of Nissan buying back the trucks under lemon law for brakes.... The thing that suck is if I do keep having the problem and I do lemon the truck, I won't be getting another truck. Right now the Titan is the only truck on the market that I really like... I told my wife that if we do lemon the truck and they do buy it back she gets to pick out a car she wants and I will be driving our 2003 toyota camry... Oh well I hope Nissan can fix this, cause after spending $33,000 on a truck and now only having 2300 miles and I need new brakes I am extremely dissapointed...
