I too will join the "radio sucks" camp.  I must confess that I'm a bit jaded seeings how my previous truck ('94 S-10) had a custom audio system and that my home audio equipment is biased towards the high-end side.  Be that as it may, there's nothing magical about FM radio tuners.  Actually, my complaint is not just how well the FM tunes-in and holds a station, but the frequency response.  It's just plain sad.

OTOH - I'm quite pleased with the CD portion.  It can't compete with what I had in my '94 S-10 or my house, but it does a pretty damn good job.  Much better than that POS Bose (no highs, no lows...must be Bose ) system in my wife's TL-S.  And what this tells me is that the speakers are capable of a nice sound.  It's just that the radio electronics are not delivering it.
