You are very correct.....it will be out very soon indeed. It's definately worth the wait, I can attest to that  Unfortunately that's all I can say right now.

The supercharger is coming out VERY soon. It's going through dyno testing at the moment. The kit is a VERY nice design...including everything you'll need to make it work efficiently and effectively. Take a look at Stillen's 350Z/G35 Supercharger system (on their website) and you'll have a pretty good idea of what the Titan kit will consist of. Of course they are two completely different engines, and therefore the kit will be different, but the overall principal is the same. Stillen had the Supercharged Titan on display at their Z/G open house last Saturday. It was an attention grabber to say the least.

from my little experience, superchargers themselves don't add anymore wear and tear to the engine than an A/C does.  But all that extra output can have effects on your transmission etc.  It will probably cause you to play a little more, resulting in more high stress situations.

I could be way off base here, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You're absolutely right. It all depends on how the S/C is set up and how you drive it. If you just slap a S/C on an engine and expect it to work properly you are mistaken. But if you modifiy the air/fuel ratio, manipulate the timing, and intercool it, then you pretty much have a bullet proof set-up as long as you don't over boost the engine beyond it's capabilities. You can be rest assured that the Stillen S/C kit will address all these issues and take the guess work out of boosting your Titan!

I see it was mentioned here that superchargers don't cause damage to the engine. The way they make more power is to force more fuel/air into each cylinder to create higher compression and make more power......right? If you look at a purpose built super/turbo motor they usually start with a lower than normal compression and all forged bottom end components to handle the extra force induced by higher compression. I don't know enough about the bottom end components in a titan to guess wether it could handle it or what the max effective boost  you can run without blowing things up. If the aftermarket guys run 10 lbs of boost to get good HP gains and then you can only run 5 to keep your motor intact over a long period of time..... I guess I would be a little scared of supercharging a motor that wasn't intended to be. This is of couse just my opinion.

This is the same issue that the VQs have. The boost levels need to be low so you does wearout the internals in 5,000 miles. Most are running 3.7 to 5.0 to be safe but there is still a question marl as I know the VQs will not handle 15lbs of boost without beefed up internals. I saw a VQ after the "fun"...not good.
