If I drive in-town only I get close to 15mpg...highway I'm getting 17.5mpg.  Maybe you should try letting off the gas a little and you won't burn so much fuel.  If you can't keep your foot out of it, you've got nothing to complain about!

I have not had the problem with it sticking on full.

I have experienced the problem with leaving it running while filling up.  It took about 45 minutes of driving for it to finally read full.  You're supposed to shut your truck off at the pump anyway, so I haven't seen the problem again since.

I've had about the same problem.  My light has only come on once and I still had +/- 8 gallons.  Yesterday I filled up when I was at a 1/4 of a tank, and still had at least 10 gallons left.   Find it hard to believe that Nissan doesn't have a more accurate gas guage?????

Bringing this topic back...

On my 2004, I have complained over and over about my gauge showing empty, my fuel light on, and not being able to get more than 20 gallons in the tank. By my calulations(simple math) I should still have a 1/4 tank.

My sender unit has been replaced 3 times in the past and I get no difference in readings.

Are others still experiencing this too? (2006 owners??) I would think there would be a fix by now...

The service manager said tank does have a 2.5 gallon reserve

your service manager is a moron lol, the reserve is 7 or 8 gallon, not 2.5

also, im not 100% sure, but i dont think the reserve gas shows up on the gauge
