The word "Performance" invokes long stares from me on this truck. While
I sell 'performance ' parts I don't see one ioda of value in this being
a race truck or care less if it burns rubber. Maybe I'm the minority
but I bought it for its work capabilities. To me the 'performance' is
pulling the race car where there's REAL acceleration to be had.

This is true, but the sportbikes aren't much fun in the rain. Hate to brake it to ya but your truck is on LSD. Full of frejoles you say? Owner's manual saum 5-29. Can I get a Amen?!
Anybody willing to pull the cork out of this truck's butt?
The LSD system works by applying brakeing force to the wheel that is slipping. ( my take from what I read) I think if you unplug the wire to the brake master for the rear brakes. It will disconnect the system. I don't know what it will do to the ECU. So I haven't tried it.

You may want to call Techosquare and see if they have done any more with the ECU programming to dumbdown the traction control system. They have helped many, many 350Z & G35 owners.

This is the link I found for Technosquare, I am calling them Monday.
http://www.technosquareinc.com/contact.htm
G35driver.com is down until Nov 24th to possibly as long as Dec 1st for site upgrades.
After the tunning that was done to our Camaro SS improved the mileage
from 17mpg to 23mpg I wonder what can be done with my Titan. I
would really like better than 12 mpg average in the city.
I can't burn rubber because of the tires. I don't really like the
tires that came stock with my LE 4X4 for street or off-road.
Looking for something different when these wear out. I am using
BF goodrich radials on my SS Camaro but I don't think that would be
prudent on my Titan. I would be interested to see what a Titan
could do on a pair if they came large enough.
"You can't use the power if you can't get it to the rear wheels" as my SS mechanic said and he is right.

i tottaly disagree with trucks are not made for racing i.e. ford
lightning dodge srt-10 my truck is ment for doing work and blowing the
doors off "hemis" yes i would think that a 25,000 - 39,000$ truck
with 305 bhp and 300+ foot pounds of tq should break the tires
loose-- it will take a corner and fish tail--your problem with spinng
the tires is 1 the gearing 2 you have 18"in tires with a wide foot
print want to spin them like a for get 16's or 17"s i think
we have275/125/18's big foot print means better traction and more
grip--mine break free after about 15-25mhp and for the head snapping
excel ease into the throttly your tire's are spinng and you dont know it

No one has brought up the rear gear the trucks without the tow package
have a 2.93 gear set and the tow apcake replaces that with I believe
3.23s or 3.42s both are steeper and will give you more grunt...aka tire
smoke. The 2.93 suck but they do help gas milage and..........I'm
thinking.....I'm thinking....
