I took it in on monday and it is now thursday. This is the information I got. Someone from PPG (the manufacture of the bedliner product) was flown in. This guy has taken over a rhino liner dealer location and is currently tring to repair or replace what they need to in the truck in the area that the owners areraising cane about ( I did in a BIG way). On monday the dealer took my truck and took everything out and flatbeded it over to the rhinoliner place. The PPG guy is working on it. The truck should have been back on Webnesday but there were problems. I do not know what. I am very very mad at this point.

by protocol I mean that, there is nothing in place right know to take care of the problem.....whenever a car is built, and after a test period, the manufacturer will generally think about and find out what defects might happen and put some kind of plan in place. I guess the bedliner is one of those thing they didn't think that they would have a problem with.

I dont doubt thats what they told you, I just think it sounds like a brush-off. I mean, if it was sprayed on at the factory, then it should be covered under some part of the vechicle's warranty. And even if it was sub-contracted out by the dealership, they should go to bat for you with whoever did the work. Im no expert on spray-in bedliners, but I have read up on 1-2 different brands...It isnt that new of a technology. Everything I have read about them claims they are easily repaired, and you obviously didnt do anything that caused it to blister, so whats the problem Nissan?.....fix da man's truck!!!...lol...keep on truckin ...and GL

I got my truck back and the bed liner looks great. The dealer took off all the tings on the bed and took it to the place that PPG designated for all the trucks in the area to be taken. A PPG rep flew out to supervise the process. They patched the bubbles and then recoated the whole thing. It is now real thick, looks good and real rough. The only problem is that the dealer reinstalled the alunimum channels incorrectly, stripped the nuts out for the channel and bent the tailgate. Took it back and they repaired (HAHAHA)the channels and replaced the tailgate with another off the lot but did not swap the key lock. PPG seems to have held up their end of the repair but the dealer hosed up their end. JUST CANT WIN FOR LOSING.

Howdy, make this my first post.
Dealer quote, "The factory bedliner carries the same warrantee as the rest of the truck".

I am still waiting on a decision about my bed liner. The dealer had to send pictured of the bubbling to Nissan a few weeks ago and I am still waiting on an answer.

Nissanone, When I started going through this i was thinking the same thing. After getting mine back and getting the stuff fixed that the dealer hosed up, I am MUCH happier with it. There is a huge difference between the origional and the one that I currently have now . After seeing how the dealer hosed up the stuff when they reinstalled unitrack and tailgate, I would not want them to replace the whole bed. No telling what they would have screwed up!
Just food for thought.

FYI. THE WHOLE BED INCLUDES UTILITY TRACK OR WHATEVER ELSE CAME WITH YOUR TRUCK. EVEN THE SAME PAINT.MAYBE YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER DEALER. THE BED COMES OFF VERY EASILY. ITS JUST A LITTLE ON THE HEAVY SIDE.
