When the sun goes down I see double of every light.  In the headlights of passing cars I see a second image above each headlight.  I know it's not my vision because other people can see it also (in my titan).  Anyone else have same problem?

Hmmm Interesting......

I also have noticed some distortion at night time looking thru my windshield also....I wonder if the windshields have some kind of protective coating on them? Its almost like there is layer of plastic?  To me the lights look kinda wavy like there is an oil film or something...

Toyota is having a similar problem with their windshields. The glass is defective and they are replacing them as it is brought to thier attention. Toyota's supplier had some issues.

Where is this recall for Toyota, what does it affect?

Well I have had some pretty loud "pops" when rocks flew up and hit my windshield throughout the years..sometimes they broke, sometimes they didnt, but I was a bit surprised when my Titan's windshield busted this past friday on my way home for Xmas. I didnt notice it until the next day when it started to spread, but I remember when it happened. I heard something hit my windshield, but it wasnt very loud and I was only driving 20 mph (cuz the roads were iced over). I quickly glanced around the window, but wasnt too concerned because of my slow speed and the fact that it just wasnt a very loud "crack". I hope this doesnt mean that the windshields are cheap in some way. I will prolly have to pay for it out of pocket cuz I have a $500 Deduct. I think...grrrrr.... Guess I will use the money I was goin to use to order the fog light kit...double grrrr.

So does anyone at Nissan know of these possible windshield flaws? This could be a major problem, like fatal.

And beer making you fat? Never heard of it. Maybe it's the beer you're brewing!

Puffman,

Most ins companies cover rock damage! You can get it changed out without paying anyting. At least here in Washington state you can, ive had 3 windshields replaced on various cars/trucks over the years. Talk to your agent
