I ordered some tools from Sears October 9th, 2004 for Xmas gifts for the family and they have been giving me the run around for three weeks and still have not received my tools. Almost every Sears Rep has been less then helpful and most have been rude, one hung up on me. Not real sure what other action I can take, but I wanted to vent

Call your cerdit card company and see if you can reverse the charges? If you can call Sears and ask for the supervisor and let them know you can and will do a chage back against them if you don't get some kind of answer. Were the items you ordered promised to you on a befroe Xmas delivery. If so state that it is after Xmas and I have nothign so cancel the order. You can also go to Consumer Affairs in your state and file a complaint. Supervisiors hate that as they have a bunch of crap to deal with on a regular basis and now you have made twice as much work for them. They might be cool and just cancel the order but then you are out the tools.

Sear's is 50/50. One time I go in to purchase a big screen, get it for $700 of the sticker price. Good, eh? Then, a year later, go to the same Sear's with a friend for his big screen, and was like pulling teeth. I left disgusted that I made the recommedation and being treated so poorly. Then we go to a different Sear's and he gets a tv for $900. A big screen. The same one at the previous store was twice as high, and no salesperson would even consider giving a discount. So, it's like there are good ones, and bad ones. Kind of like Titan's (I haven't had any where near the problems that are listed here).
