I know this problem has been addressed on other threads, but I just wanted to see if anyone has actually had there auto up FIXED?
I'm talking about when you pull the window switch for full auto up and it goes "Clunk-Clunk" - up about an inch then back down, then refuses to go up at all. I have had mine "overload" so much that you have to literally wait 15-20 seconds for it to "re-set" before the window will do ANYTHING!
I was very fortunate that when I dropped it off at the dealers today (for the second time - same issue) The service tech actually got it to mess up right before his eyes, therefor the problem was "verified".
This is the second time around on this and it will be interesting to see what they will do - if anything.
Anyone else STILL living with this problem?

I had my reg and motor replaced and it worked for about a month then it started it again. On Dec 30th they replaced the switch and the problem stopped and the switch works much better now.

Well, I just returned from the dealer. I started to pull out of the shop and decided to test the window.
On my first try the window did the SAME THING as before: Up about a half inch then clunk back down. Try to get it to come up and it "locks up" and will not come up until you let go of the button and wait 10-15 seconds. BUMMER!
They said tha they replaced the switches, but obviously that did not work. SO... another day in the shop

This just might prove one of the things we learn to live with. Mine switch was replaced and yea, it still does it. If you are worried don't go down all the way in the rain and it still comes back up.

I think I found your problem.. Do you, by chance, have the in
channel vent visors installed on the windows? It is the
additional space required for these that causes the window
issue...
Hope this helps.

Those can cause problems, but I have them and they work fine...there was a time or 2 when they were new that the windows did not want to go up, but no problems since then.
