I had the shimmying wheel while applying the brakes problem after about the first 1000 miles on my truck.  I took it in and the dealer replaced the pads and turned the rotors.

The problem arose again at about 5K miles.  I dropped the truck off this morning (because my TSB replacement window switches had come in finally) and told them about the brake problem again.  This time they replaced both front rotors!

I'll let everyone know if I have further issues.

I have 5k on my 2004. I have started to feel the brake problems. I hope Nissan will solve the whole problem. I am taking in the truck on Monday for the normal problems(brakes, rattling, transmission getting hot when towing, bad fabric on the driver side, burning smell from the rear end).I love the truck, but I should have waited until 2005 or 2006 to but a new truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2004 XE Titan. I've been to the dealer 4 times, Nissan Headquarters notified me that there is no fix for the problem. And that they are going to put on the same components that will fail again in another 900 miles.

For my efforts and time, they offered me a free oil change. wtf.

So, I'm taking legal actions against Nissan for a full refund of the truck for the lemon law. In California, twice on saftey and three times for other miscellaneous frass, scratch and random filth that may provide irratation.

I've contacted a lawyer, and started a lawsuit. I've got everything documented. I still like Nissan, just wish they'd make a recall before somebody loses their brakes all together and takes out some old lady in a Buick.

I posted a reply last week under a different heading. I am having the same problem, I am on my third fix (second set of new rotors). I was contacted by Nissan and was told that they were supposed to have a fix for the problem and that there would be a recall soon. I contacted my local dealer a couple of days after the call to follow-up and he basically told me it was a stall tactic by Nissan and that they do not have a fix for it. As of today 2500 miles after the last set of rotors it is starting again. Anybody out there had Nissan buy back or offer a trade under their states Lemon Law?
