I read through this TSB twice. I didn't see anything that mentioned cold weather as the problem. All I read about was water and/or corrosion on a connector.
Keep in mind lead acid batteries can lose as much as 1/2 their power in low temperatures. This applies to all lead acid batteries regardless of make or brand name. (It used to be a common practice for pilots in colder climates to actually remove the batteries from their aircraft and store them indoors until their next flight. This was their simple solution to keep the batteries warm and reduce wear and tear on their starters.)
It may sound silly, but you can actually heat up a battery by turning on your headlights for a few minutes. Sometimes this is enough to get the juices flowing and crank the engine...GL.
