following reasons (I've posted about a couple of these on other
threads, but many of you asked for an update, so to refresh your
memories):
1. Break Shuddering - this kicked in at about 2500 miles - my truck has 3100 miles on it at the moment.
2. Drivers side headlight - the strip of plastic(?) right beneath
the drivers side headlight has what looks to be paint warping.
3. Antifreeze odor through my ac vents
4. Tire guage light
The break shuddering and the tire guage light are common problems and
I'm sure can be resolved one way or the other. The paint warping
I'm sure is an easy fix too. However, the antifreeze odor is a
big deal to me due to the fact that while everyone on the boards seem
to have a problem with it OUTSIDE their truck, I'm geting it through my
AC vents - it was so potent one time, I had to pull over as I could not
focus and nearly passed out. The antifreeze odor does not occur
everytime I run the AC - only a couple of times has it happened - maybe
6 or 7 times - and it's been light odor - it's been heavy about 2 out
of the 6 or 7 times, so it's not a frequent problem, but one that needs
to be resolved.
Overall, the truck is wonderful and these fixes should be no problem
whatsoever - I'm pretty sure reading all your posts, Nissan is aware of
these problems and are in the process of finding a solution
quickly. I'm in SoCal at the moment and it's raining like cats
and dogs and watching these trucks go through this water like it's
nothing made me more envious as I drove off in my Chevy Aveo (stop
laughing Titan owner!!! lol)
I'll post here after I get my truck back with what my dealer had to say.
