Well guys... i dont have my titan yet... Right now i have a 2004 chevy silverado. My brother's the one with the Titan. But as soon as i sell my truck, my brother is letting me buy his Silver lightly modded 2004 Titan SE for 17k. He's buying a porsche. But anyways... My brother has a Banks Power Exhaust System and a K&N air charger. Let me tell you... thats the only way to go. My brother gets from 16-23 mpg compared to the 14-19 mpg stock set up. Plus the power gains are ridiculous! Ive driven the titan b4 and boy does it haul ass.

My Silverado is a 4.8L V8 with a K&N Air Intake and a Flowmaster Muffler. I have smoked many-a-rice rockets in my day and my brother's titan can kill my silverado without even trying. I once raced a v6 riced out 2005 honda accord and won by a mile... I bet when i get my titan ill be able to take out some s2000s :)

16-23mpg and 14-19mpg are fairly broad ranges, under my normal driving habits/conditions my mileage doesn't vary more than .75mpg.

I am interested in upgrades/modifications but reluctant to shell out the cash for something that may or may not deliver what is promised. I'd be curious to see your brother's before and after dyno results to help me make up my mind.

the banks system is a little high but if you at photos of the system, then you can see that it apparently replaces the stock "Y" pipe. there are not many bolt on systems that replace the "Y"-pipe which can only help. good luck.

Got an '04 Titan with the 8" CST lift. I had them put a Volant CAI systen in it and just added a Banks Monster exhaust. Hauls even more a$$ and just sounds incredible. Worth the 5 bills for the exhaust!!! I don't know if the fuel mileage has improved 'cause I can't keep my foot out of it! Eats Americam trucks for lunch!!!
