does anyone know the difference between mandrel and non-mandrel bent exhaust pipe, if the difference is horse power, do you know if the difference is small or large, in other words, is it worth the price difference?

Mandrel bent pipes have nice smooth bends which allows the exhaust to move more freely than non-mandrel bent pipes which have the "accordian" look to them.

 If your going to replace the stock pipes I would opt for the mandrel bent pipes.I'm sure there is a hp difference although minimal.If all your going for is the sound then go for it,but if your after hp improvement mandrel is the way to go.After all every little bit counts no matter how small the gain is.One other thing to consider is any future modifications you plan to do,you don't want to pay a ton of money for an intake or something and not realize the full potential due to poor exhaust flow.

mandrel system  has the same amount of flow through  the whole tube so size is same (diameter) so that measn better perfonmance .I dont know how much .
