I took my truck in for a few things that needed to be fixed, like the brakes.  They ordered new window switches because the windows don't always go up.  But they were unable to duplicate poor reception with the radio.  This is the worst reception I have ever had and there is a TSB on it.  Do I push the issue based on the TSB?  Or take him for a ride with me?  I also have problems with my 4X4 and 4LO light coming on in 2WD.  They were unable to duplicate this as well.  There is a TSB on this as well.  Do I push the issue that these problems are not isolated with me and there are TSB's so they should replace what the Bulletin says regardless of being able to duplicate it?

TIA,
Ron

PS.  What are the specs on the rotor thickness before/after cutting?

Thanks again

I always had to point out a TSB, But it sound like a different dealer might listen better. My radio was replace and switches and it now works great.

You have to be moving for the signal to fade in and our from my history with it. They replaced mine too. Still does it. Lucky for me/them I'm pretty much an XM listener all the time.

Thanks for the responses, I appreciate it.  I took it back to the dealer where it was purchased hoping for better service...  I have had it to a closer dealer and they didn't even want to talk to me.  I got better service when I purchased a preowned BMW from a BMW dealer, live and learn.

I just told them I had problems and they just replaced it. There were no problems asked.    You need to let them know that it isn't right and fix it. After spending that kind of money they should be kissing your ass.

We have a Titan and I think just about everything has been replaced on it and some of the things, such as the windows still don't work.  Nissan has a new rotor that they can replace the ones that came on the truck, they are suppose to be better.  We have 20,000 miles on ours and have had 4 sets of brakes put on and finally they said that the rotors warped prematurely and replaced them.  That seems to have helped.  Although we did have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau concerning this truck.  Some of the problems we can't duplicate such as the smell of freeon, sometimes the order is so strong you have to put the windows down, but we hate to because they might not go up.  It's a shame because we paid a great deal of money for this truck.  Service has not been great and at times they have had a really negative attitude toward us.  This truck is the worst thing we have ever bought, for it to be brand new we were expecting a great deal more.

A newly made vehicle ALWAYS has problems. I knew this going in to the deal.

I've had a few issues...but overall, this truck KICKS @$$!

My radio was replaced for fade/sound issues under the TSB. The new one does sound much better, but still sucks compared to listening to a CD.
