Thinking on buying an 06 with the Zig Zag Auto Shifter on the console.....

Do you folks like this setup VS the inline shifters on the console on other makes of trucks........

Can you shift it quickly by Zig Zagging.........

I myself have the center console and find no problems shifting. It may seem weird at first, buy you easily adapt to it.

I've heard that people have been beating Hemi's by not manually shifting. I have to disagree though, seems like I can make it to 60 faster by shifting through the gears myself. But, you have to be careful and shift at the appropriate times of it seems like the power is kind of lagging.

Well I bought my new 06 Nissan KC SE today........

Wow........lots of power..........

I am trying hard to get use to the zig zaggar auto shifter tho.........

I noticed right away that the light from the radio shows up in my rear window...

So far thats the only thing that bothers me.....

The zig zag shifter you will get used to. But the power speaks for itselft. And yeah, the reflection of the radio display in the back glass is a minor nuisance.

I test drove both but found that the console shifter was just a total pain and found that the center console on the bench seat (center seat folded down) was actually better for supporting me then the buckets
