I finally noticed my AC went out on me on Friday of last last week, almost 2 weeks ago and decided to put it in service at Metro Nissan in Montclair CA, I bought the truck from Power Nissan in Irvine and always thought the service there was better, but because I live closer to Metro, I thought it would save me the 30min drive and drop it off at Metro. Well, after they spend half the day with my car, they told me I had a hose leaking and that was why my AC didn't work. They had to order the parts for me and told me to take the truck home. In SoCal weather, the heat without the AC makes the truck undrivable and a paper weight on my driveway. It's been sitting out there for two weeks now and the part still hasn't come in. I called Nissan corporate and they coulden't do anything about it. Supposidly the part was on back order and there are no parts in the USA. I was hopping to get a rental car but Nissan Corp had very bad service and would not offer me any compensation. I also spent another 2k for the Gold perferred extended warranty and it seems like it helps in no way at all. In all, I am extremely unhappy with the service at Nissan and the way Nissan treats their customers. As a warning, I hope all of you out there won't have a leaking AC hose and I think all of you should buy an extended warranty for this first year truck.
