Right now i am just looking for a drop in air filter to replace the stock one.  My question is what would be a good one to use?  I want one that does let more air flow but also keeps most of the dirt out.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Justin

You have to keep in mid that a high flow filiter will let a little more crap in and some bring their own to the party such as the oil & gauze type/K&N,Holly. Your Fram Air Hog might...might ...might be a far off option. The MAFs in Nissans are really touchy so be careful. I wanted to go with GREDDYs AIrnix but its three layers of foam of different densities but the are rumored to be dirty as hell almost just a bug shield instaed of a filter. I have K&Ns on the Fairlady & the Skyline and both MAFs are coated in K&N oil. The idle seems to be the issue with both but not much else...thankfully

DO NOT GET THE GREDDY AIRINX..it is just onelayer about a half inch thick of just foam.  i had one on my supra, but got a kn filter.  the cool thing about the greddy was that after a while, you could take the foam out, and wash it out in the sink,  that thing was pretty filthy.

Did you notice any problems with the MAF? I really want to go with the airnix but I have heard form many sources that they are even more dirty than a K&N.
