My 1996 Sierra extended cab started having problems (A/C, head gasket or intake manifold gasket, rotors, cruise control) at 88,000, so we looked around and traded for a white XE KingCab.  Couldn't get the Big Tow with the XE, but the dealer threw in a factory receiver hitch (very complete kit, btw).  I didn't want most of the SE package (power windows, center console, etc.) anyway.

We tow a small motorcycle trailer and sometimes an enclosed Haulmark trailer (maybe 2,100 lbs with two bikes in it).  The non-Big Tow Titan is rated for the same capacity (6,500 lbs) as our GMC was with the tow package and a 5.7, so I think we'll be fine.

I have had Datsuns since the old days (still have two PL510s) and have always liked Nissans.  This truck is roomy, comfy and powerful.  I like it!

Punted our 2003 GMC for the Titan. The stupid GM accelerator by wire (instead of linkage) was driving us nuts here in the snow country. GMC was nothing, then too much! Titan is Zoom right now and the throttle is designed right. Tons of room in our LE crew. Great stereo and ultra quiet enough to enjoy it.
