I'm looking at an '06 Titan, and I wanted to run a couple questions by you guys:

1. My local dealer has a pretty close match to the truck I want. It is a Kingcab LE and has the following options: 4x4 drivetrain, step rails, tow package, and floormats. MSRP listed is $34,775...what do you think I could walk out of there paying (excluding taxes, destination charges, etc)? I'm looking to purchase and put at least $15k down on this.

2. The truck at the dealer doesn't have the sliding bed divider, bed extender, or sliding tray...are these things that the dealer would have and could install? Are they things that I could install myself (with a nice friend to help lift)?

3. Is the navigation system worth it? Since this truck doesn't have it, I'm not thinking too heavily about it, but it might be nice, but not necessary. Is this a PITA to install after-market?

4. In the limited interior pictures I've seen on the Nissan website, they show metallic looking dash trim. Are these actually metal, or painted plastic?

Thanks for reading. Please don't say "SEARCH"...I want to go look at the truck tonight on my way home from work. I appreciate any responses.

1. I don't really know on price. It's the new model, so they probaly wouldn't come off too much the price, unless your timing is right with incentives, rebates, and so on.

2. I've heard of dealers being able to add the extra pkgs, such as the utlity bed, at the listed price of the pkg. So yes, it is possible to have the dealer add these, if they have the means to.

3. Don't have one, never used one.

4. I believe the interior is the same on the 06 as my 04, which is plastic. I like it fine, but some people may think it looks cheap.

i went with the 04 4x4 se tow package king cab i got it for 28000 .however with all the trouble i have had with it i have been thinking about going back to chevy . they told me they woud give me 14300 i owe 21.they have lost there mind.i guess i am stuck with it for awhile.
