Is Nissan ready for battle against the new Tundra?

From all i've read the Tundra will be a real player in the

full size market.

Well they gonna need a new power-plant to be a legitimate competitor. The Camry will be entering Nascar in '07 (I think)...wonder how thats gonna go over with the fans.

To me the '07 Tundra looks like a Dodge Ram knock-off. Not very original.

As I recall, the first Tundra had Ford in an uproar, because they said it looked too much like the F150. I guess Toyota has ran out of soap ...Their new Camry looks a little funky too...from the front atleast.

Toyota has always tried to out-do NISSAN. For example when the 300ZXTT(90-96) came out their Supra at the time was quite weak and couldn't hold a candle to the new Z. Then after 3 years, Toyota came out with the MK IV Supra Turbo(93-98). I figured it was about time for a Yota counter attack. I wonder if NISSAN will be upping the ante with power/torque/displacement to play up against the new Tundra? NISSAN usually doesn't do such things, although, they were definitely improving the 350Z to continuously compete against its rivals...*shrug*

Toyota seems to be ready to go to battle with Top-Selling Ford and their F150.  I dont think any carmaker can displace the Ford, its a very complete package.

But I dont care about Toyota or Ford.  I love my Titan.

IMO, the new F-150 rear suspension is way too soft. We had a fleet in the desert(country of Qatar, im in the Air Force), and it was almost like as if the rear shocks were gone.

I dont know what the new Tundra will be like, but Im willing to bet that TOYOTA will try to out do the TITAN.
