HELLO EVERYBODY!

I WANTED TO GET AN OPINION OF WHICH TRUCK IS BETTER THE NISSAN TITAN OR THE CHEVY SILVERADO.

MY DAD IS DECIDING ON BUYING A NEW TRUCK

I hope to know you that most replies will be biased since this is a Titan forum. Have your dad (or you) read all of the posts on the Chevy and Nissan forums and then test drive both. Trucks are a pretty subjective issue.

I test drove a F-150 (with 5.4), Dodge 1500 Hemi, and the Titan back to back. I chose the Titan. Looked at the Chevys, but didn't want to test drive them (I already own two other Chevys). I also looked at the Tundra but didn't want 7/8 of a truck.

I drove a gmc and wasn't impressed. but the titan made my hiney laugh

I traded in my 03 Silverado on my new Titan. I think the Titan has a little smoother ride, but my Chevy was a Z71 which makes it a bit stiffer and my Titan doesn't has the off road pack. I think the Titan is quieter in the cab and the controls are laid out better and have a better feel to them. Personally I like the looks of the Titan alot better. The Chevy is an older design, going on seven years old this year, except for the freshed front end in 03. I think on the Titan you get more for your money, but the Chevy are offering deeper discounts so that makes it a bit more even. My Chevy had about 23,000 miles when I traded it in and it was trouble free.
