slaughtered my buddy in one on the highway, we both came off the off ramp, I was two cars ahead, he jumps over and punches it, I let him get right up to my tailgate and put it to the floor, he never got past my front door

Good to hear! I've spanked a couple down low. Bad too. Figured they were backing off for traffic. Next time I take my boat to the lake. I'm looking for a lightning doing the same. Long shot right? Ya, think we all know why too.

I just raced one yesterday from a red light he was talkin trash so I took VDC off, stomped it, spun em. Like a wild horse it leaped outta the gate... whipped the tail out a bit, only thing he saw was my back liscense plate. Also I hooked two 10,000 lb chains to my tow hook and my friends tow hook on the back of his 98 chevy 1500 6.4 liter in the grass... pulled him around while he spun his tires... WEAK. I do however have a couple minor mods... a banks exhaust system and K&N air filter ... try the air filter you will notice a moderate difference in acceleration for only $45.

We all went to the drag strip two weeks ago and I raced a Dodge Hemi Rumblebee. I beat him consistantly on the 1/8th mile drag strip with a time of 10.2. My boss's Titan runs the 1/8th in 10 seconds flat. The only difference between our trucks is the paint color.

I have not raced a Hemi, but I did smoke a V-8 Dakota the other evening. We were on a strait stretch, when he flew in behind me (I was following a slow car). He kept trying to whip out and pass the other car and myself. Needless to say, he and I went to pass at the same, and the Dakota decreased in size in my rear view mirror. Even though the Hemi has more HP, the Titan has more Torque. Horsepower is just a measurement, and Torque moves you down the road. In my opinion, in a race against a Hemi, the race would be close, but the Titan would win hands down.
