my wife is probably going to be needing a new car within the next month or so and so that has left me pondering what vehicle to get her.  She particularly likes the Nissan Xterra and the Jeep Liberty and I am wondering if you folks have any reason to support either of these two or have an additional suggestion my price range tops out at 25k.  Thanks

Wait and get the 05 X-terra, the liberty is an alright vehicle but I think you and her will be much happier with the new x-terra, its getting a lot of upgrades including a 250 horse V6 (Finnally). They both can be had for around your price range so my suggestion would be weigh your options and go test driving

and before anyone says anything, yes I am biased because I work at Nissan, but even if I didnt I would still choose an x-terra over a liberty, maybe not a wrangler, but it depends on how it will be used

Well where do I start, after 5 weeks of long and hard research I am finally going to pickup my new 4x2 KC SE on Thurs. I read anything I could on the truck and most of it was good until I got on Edmunds town hall and the general consensus was the brakes failed and it rattled and squeaked in the often not to mention the window switches. Was this a start up condition? I don't want to talk shop with you about work but I sure would like to get comfort before I write my check on Thurs.

Well we made our purchase yesterday and I am happy as well as my wife.  Believe it or not this vehicle made it less time stock then my Titan did.  It is a 2004 Jeep Liberty Rocky Mountain Edition and suits her purpose nicely....here it is on grass with less then 100 miles on her

On Monday it returns to the dealer for the Renegade LightBar
