Where are we now? I've taken the truck back in three more times with the Service Engine Soon Light on. So far the dealer has replaced the Catalytic Converter and O2 Sensor.
This past Sunday the truck, again, died while driving down the highway multiple times. It would cough, spit and not idle, and then it would run okay, and then not.
Now the dealer says that they have 7-8 error codes and seem pretty much clueless! They are now talking with the Nissan service rep, and they are "clearing" the ECU and are going to take it through the drive cycle---then what? who knows? Did they take it through the drive cycle the previous two times it was there? Of course not-- EVEN AFTER I ASKED THEM TOO! Now the Nissan rep says to change the crankshaft sensor regardless--THE SAME THING I TOLD THEM TO DO THE FIRST TIME I WAS THERE!!
I'm sending the required Lemon Law letter to Nissan today. I'll keep you updated.
I really really like this truck, but now I do not consider it reliable enough to take anywhere but to the corner store. Sad, but true.
p.s. my rotors are warped too (7000 miles)
