Well if I couldn't tell that I have the brake issue all I have to do is listen to know. The shimmy that happens under braking has caused a new rattle to form in my dash. It seems to be coming from aroung the instrument cluster or around the left front dash speaker. It is starting to drive me nuts. Anybody have any ideas on how to maybe fix this myself considering I can't stand to take it to my local mother ing dealer beings I didn't buy the truck from them. They always act like my problems are no big deal becasue I didn't buy from them. Dickheads. Anyways any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks as always.

Sounds to me like the tube that runs under the dash for the defrosters. Its clipped right to the dash and will rattle like hell. I jammed a small piece of wood under mine and it was gone for good. Not easy to get at. I pulled the in strument cluster out to get at it. Later found out its eaier to get if you pop the panel on the dash where the defrost comes out to hit the windshield. Be careful of the metal clps that hold the panel in. Cover them with tape or they will mark up the dash. Hope this helps.
I know what you mean by rattle wagon. I fixed more then I can count and they keep on coming. Working on a click under the dash on the passenger side now. I had my Titan for about seven months and had constent annoying problems. Just had the brakes done yesterday. I am to the point I'm afraid to drive it because something eslse might pop up. Looks like it's time to dump it already.

I've a little rattle coming from the right rear of the cabin.  Sounds like the seat belt latch, so I tried buckling the belt and no difference.  Maybe from the jack?  I tried looking for it while in motion, but oncoming traffic didn't appreciate my use of their lanes.  Lots of horn honking, finger waving and cussing...you know.

Sorry to interrupt....you were saying?

Rick

Guess you tried pushing on different parts of the dash while in motion right? My next move depending on how high up in the dash it is. Would be to take the bottom part of the dash off. Get it up to noise speed & start feelin her up. Hopefully you won't come up on that bicycle babe with your hands full.  ( Jokes & funny stuff forum. driver test.)

watsor1 If you got the freak in you to go for that chauffeur ride without one. You have a better chance of relaxing enough to where this could work. You need to be relaxed. Try driving with your eyes closed. Seriously. Three lane with those lane dot gizmos for the sleepy. Get in the middel one & get all Stevey Wonda. Sounds silly I know. It's no more so than trying to see a noise right?  Put me down for an oh ya in advance ya freakin comedian.      (in a good way)

It's probably all to obvious I haven't had any noise problems so far. The dealership situation on the other hand. Is all to clear. Seems a dealer 60 miles away from me was $500 cheaper so I went with it. Oops. I've never had a problem with the brakes. But I've been thinking about taking it in for a seat memory implant. Figured I'd go for Some free pucks at the same time. Any body know offhand what the warranty period & milage limit is?

I took my truck in for Door and dash rattles. They put in a door and dash rattle kit. My truck is solid as a rock. Nissan of Greenville TX has been outstanding on service. The have fixed all of my complaints. I think alot of the complaints on the web page are do to the individual dealers.
