I've got just about every rattle, creak and squeak out of my truck. But I'm at a dead end on this one. There is a click or ticking sound
in the dash coming from some where between the center under the nav. system to the passenger side of the dash. It only makes the the sound on bumps like wash board or frost heaves in the road. Mostly at highway speeds and it is not constant. Its like a metallic sound, but I'm not sure. I am sure its coming from inside the cab. I've tried everything short of pulling out the whole dash. If anyone out there has any ideas of what is causing this annoying clatter, please post a reply. Thanks.

check out this post at another site. It worked for me. the wire goes between the body gnd on the lug from the battery ground cable to the block. The url is http://www.titantalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16678&p age=2&pp=15&highlight=ticking+sound  Hope this works for you to. I noticed that the factory painted the fender and then installed the lug trying to get a good ground.
