I was thinking of putting in a new intake for my Nissan Titan Crew Cab 2x4 LE but I don't know which brand would be good to put in... I was thinking of putting in a Volant Intake kit selling online for around $280 but I just starting researching... What I've read on magazines and online articles, these intakes can possibly add 10-20HP to the Titan with around 50-70 pounds of new torque. I think it's well worth it I'm guessing...

I think those #'s are very inflated, so take that info w/a grain of salt (especially the torque #s). I've also heard that while you may gain a few horses, you gain those in the upper rpm area, and actually lose low end power. But this is just what I've heard, and haven't seen any dyno runs to prove anything. Let us know what you find though!

I'll make sure I get my truck rated and tested for these performance stats if I decide to install them. If they don't improve, I can just return for a refund and install my old ones again. Not a major repair so its okay.

Intakes are deffinetly nice..I have had one in every vehicle I've owned....I noticed a better throttle response and in most cases a slight increase in gas mileage...
As far as those numbers go I've seen 6 cyl. cars and trucks get 6-7 hp gain with an intake so 9-10 wouldn't be a hard number to get but that torque gain is probably over inflated....

You can look through some of the other posts here, but I know I've seen
some posts regarding an increase in noise with a different air
intake. Not trying to deter you, just want you to be aware of a
possibility of increased noise from the engine compartment during
acceleration.

I personally am waiting for the Poweraid and Airaid combo to come out. I had it on my old chevy and it was a winner. It was noticable as far as performance and paid for itself in gas milage.
