I noticed the other day that when the door opened it makes a very loud pop noise and that the mounting plate seems to move. I made an appointment with the dealer since it needs an oil change and the window regulator is making noise again. What is your opinion of this folks?

I am assuming you have a super cab not a crew cab. Strange how the popping repeats over and over. A spring out of place?

Yeah after I asked I saw your picture with your dads car. Hopefully they get it figured out. So are you a DV guy. What camera did you use to video tape the door and what software did you use?

actually the video is raw unedited video from my sony dsc-p92 digital still camera. It works pretty good in most scenerios but it really depends what you are filming

Yup, I got the same thing. I took a 10mm Socket and tried to tighten the screw there. It didn't turn move much (less than a eigth of a turn) but since I don't open the door completely I havn't check for a while. I'll try to rememeber to check it this evening.
Thanks for the Video!

I called the dealer about an hour ago and they told me that so far they are clueless as to why its making that noise and that even tightening the bolt hadn't helped. Hopefully when i pick it up the problem will be solved

just to update I got my truck back. They said the backing plate to the door somehow hollowed itself out so they tightened the bolt and said it will work its way out again so they ordered a new one, they also ordered yet another window regulator for the drivers side rear door (this will make 3) but they did the oil change correctly and managed to fix my weather stripping problem on the rear window..so all in all a good service experience

You get your new backing plate in yet? Hopefully you will get a faster response than I did for my Lumbar Support Lever.

JoeyCrack,
I missed what happened with the weather stripping on the rear windows? Did it fall out like mine?
