Hi, everyone.

The Titan King Cab LE 4X4 that I bought a month ago was my first pickup truck. I was also considering a Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Laramie before I opted for the Titan. The Titan's Endurance V8, the Rockford Fosgate stereo, and the console-mounted shifter were just a few reasons why I selected the Titan. I can tell you now after just 4 weeks of ownership; there is no looking back, except for the Hemi powered Ram that's in my rearview mirror.

Ford, GMC, and Chevy never stood a chance in my selection process. Their powerplants are too weak, they still run antiquated 4-speed automatics, and I didn't want to buy something that everyone else owns. Plus, the exterior styling of said trucks leaves alot to be desired in my humble opinion.

Anyway, enough about the competition. My truck is Sedona with a two-tone Sand and Steel interior. I opted for the Tow Package because I wanted the lower set of gears to improve acceleration/deceleration. I also had a hood protector and a grille guard installed at the dealership where I bought the truck. I've seen a few Titans on the road over the last few weeks, but none with a grille guard. Maybe people aren't aware that it's available or they don't like the appearance of it, but let me tell you that it makes the Titan command the respect of others even more. Very intimidating and cool, indeed.

I'm sorry about the long-winded first post, but I'm still so excited about this truck. I hope this feeling never wears off. I can't say enough good things about it.

Later, fellow Titan owners...

Congrats on your choice. I took the same tour. All the trucks had one or two things I liked better than another. The titan had everything except the interior. I looked at all of them. Then I went to vegas for my wife's yearly company convention. To stay out of the casinos during the day. I drove them all again. I told Dealers what was up. They didn't care. The dodge dealer even let me leave my rental car, and take the Hemi for the rest of the day. Oops. I went straight back to the nissan dealer. let's run em. After a coupel cracks about texans. It was apparent he was to much of a candyass. No matter. I drove the titan again about 5 minutes after the dodge and I didn't need to see them side by side. The nissan kicks ass below 80. Thinking back about it. I couldn't beleive how much more romp the titan had in traffic. Thank god I made the right choice. I'm cool with the interior now. I don't think I could have got past that cheap ass fancluth howel the hemi had.
