Hi Gang,
Sorry, I posted in the wrong place, I'm new to all this forum stuff so bear with me, I'm also new to Nissan as of 2 weeks ago, I got a 71 Datson 240Z ( I'm rebuilding the motor now) that I bought 25 years ago but it was Datson back them and not Nissan.
It's been years since I've owned a vehicle with this much punch. I love the truck, power nice interior and it looks like it's made for the tough haul. Muscles all the way through. I was looking at another new F-250 but we were $ 1,200.00 apart, so my wife just mentioned going up to look at the Nissan. I went to please her and let them think about it. Baby, I love you, you are so smart, thank you, never went back to the ford dealer and I have purchased 5 from them, if Nissan keeps this up I never will.
My first Nissan produce is sitting outside, the new toy is a 2005 TITAN Crew Cab SE, Deep Ocean, 4x4, tilt, cruise, power windows & door, locks, lap top desk on passanger front seat, 5 in floor auto, 305hp, power rear wndow, cabin light, bed liner, assisted tail gate, 18" wheels, 40/60 flip up & down rear seats, 6 cd changer, gauges, gauges, gauges, smooth sounds, more storage boxes than on the Starship Enterprist, A/C everywhere, soft captains seats up front w/ arm rest, more storage spaces, leg room to the moon front & back, the sweetest sound this side of Daytonia, stops on a dime and I keep the 15 cent change just for the show, 5 speed automatic in the floor w/ manual shift, lights all over the place & thats just inside, auto adjustable heated mirrors and rear window too that electricly rolls up & down, 17 MPG, toe bars in front so I can laugh at the dope in the Ford or Chev. in need of a tow, a center console that my laptop fits in too, more drink holders that would make a drink machine proud, power hookups everywhere, underseat storage, lumbar support, non slip diff., air pressure warning, auto roll down windows with key pad, anti theif lockdown and screams for attention, ABS, 7400# or 9400# towing, 1300 to 1500 payload, step rails, and the best for last a monster under the hood that actually growls when you touch the gas pedel. At that for $ 26,799.00, man, have I died and gone to heaven or what. Eat your heart out Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, & TOY-O-DA, do not bother to look over your shoulder to see us coming by the time you try that you will be eating our dust, but not for long because before you get there it will have settled.
Thanks Nissan, you really know how to make an ole man feel young again. I have a problem with how the dealership advertised the vehicle, telling me about the 9,400 # towing but not telling me you need the BIG TOW PACKAGE for it, they did promise to put on a towing package which to them means a reese hitch not big towing package. This could be a problem as I tow a 8,125 # trailer about 10 to 12 times a year. We are still talking about the problem which could get ugly, with the reese hitch only the rated limit is 7,400 #, if anyone has any advise I could use it. If they had told me about the difference I would have picked out aone with it, but they did not have one at the time. I told them I told them about the trailer weight they said no problem.
And I have another problem, my harley or my truck. Never had this problem before, I love my harley and my truck. I'm talking joy ride now. I really like the forum too, I have enjoyed learning from you guys about the truck.
thanks,
