Great forum!!

I have a '04 XE with the single CD player radio.  I purchased XM radio and i'm using the Delphi Universal Audio Adapter (Wireless FM Mod).  I really am not pleased with this system because when I select any station in the 88 or 107 ranges, I still get too much feedback.  I would like to hardwire into the radio if possible.

Can anyone offer suggestions and/or solutions?  I appreciate all your help!!

Does your stereo have the Aux input on the front??? If so, use that and just bypass the FM modulator...thats what i did with my Sirius unit...works great....GL

Hey Puffman !!! I did the same thing on my Titan....only problem is that I can't get much Volume out of it. My radio and CD player crank. I'm feeding it with a Roady. I even tried the newest XM radio Commander and there was NO differance...

Can you or anyone else help ?????

I acually spliced the cable direct from behind the AUX jack. Still the audio is low....

That AUX plug sucks, no matter what you connect in there you cranking the radio to hear it.  I put portable DVD through th AUX, and the sound sucked.

My volume using the AUX input is lower than the CD/radio, but I just turn it up a little louder..Maybe my ears arent as discerning as others but the sound quality I get using the AUX sounds ok to me...maybe make sure your cable is for stereo, not mono, or try a Monster cable brand..I may do that myself just to see if there is a difference.

OK NOW !!! I think that we all agree that the FM modular sucks!!! Also that using the AUX input lowers the volume....Lets figure out how to correct it or use a different input somewhere!!!!

My volume is about 60% og the radio or CD volume..........
