I was wondering if anyone has replaced the tweeters speakers on the dash. If so what kind would you recommend?

I replaced them with CDT CL-61 components, bought them from
www.thezeb.com for $150 which is a steal for this high end
speaker. They're 6.5's but there's a plastic conversion plate you
can buy for like $15. I also put Alpine 1629 6.5 2 way coaxial's
in the rear. It made a world of difference. I wanted to
upgrade the sub but there's not an 8' made that will fit the stock
mounting box under the drivers seat (not deep enough). I'm
thinking of adding another sub under the passenger seat. The
system sounds worlds better. FYI even if you have the Rockford
Fosgate system the speakers are Clarion.

what size are our tweeters? I went to the web site and will probably get some there, also what is the difference between metal and soft dome?

The tweeters are combined with the mounting bracket so trying to
duplicate the size isn't going to happen. Aftermarket tweeters
are a "standard" size. The difference in the domes is just as
it's described one is metal the others are probably
polypropeline. I didn't buy the CDT & Alpine speakers for my
Titan they were left from the system I had in the RSX I had
previously. You can find some high end 6x9's for the front doors
I'm sure.
