Went to p/u my truck after Dealer had it a week for brake replacement, window problem and rear seat recall.

Drove away from Dealer engine felt sluggish and started pinging back firing, brought it back to dealer, after dealer had it for 5 days they told me that the cat converter is part of the exhaust manifold and cracked inside, a piece came off and lodged inside the exhaust this caused the problem, been 2 1/2 weeks now dealer is awaiting parts (new exhaust manifold and new exhaust system) they claim parts have been on backorder, which tells me this must be a problem a lot of people are having, is that so? has any one had this problem? I do recall before bringing my truck to the Dealer having a slugish feel to the accelerator at highway speed almost like the truck had a governor on it.

Starting to wonder if I should have bought the Ford Super Crew!
