Does anyone know if it is possible to rewire/reprogram the truck so that the fog lamps turn on with the park lights, not the head lights?

Thanks!

I posted this same question in July/August of last year and no one responded even though I bumped the thread several times over several months.  I'm begining to think it's not possible.

It didn't take the Acura TL-S folks hardly any time before they had figured out how to "rig" their fogs to come on with either the parking or headlights.  And it was one of the first mods I did to my TL-S.  Anyhow.....

I hope someone figures it out.

Thanks for asking again.

Tom

I'd like to know the answer to that same question. I've been afraid to put a tool anywhere near my truck yet.

It IS possible, I just don't know how.  I saw a Titan on a road trip in Louisana with fogs and parking lights only.  I didn't get the chance to ask how he did it as I was at a gas station and he was coming and I was going.

That excuse is unacceptable.  You own a Titan.  You shoulda chased his ass down!

Wait a minute...he had a Titan too.

Nevermind.

Seriously though....what do you guys think we need to do to get an answer to this?  I wonder if any custom auto electronics dealers have figured it out?

C'mon people.....we need answers!  Shake them bushes!!

The relay for the fog lights must be wired to the headlight switch so all you would have to do is jump over to the park light switch too.  Sounds simple but I'm sure you would need a wiring diagram to do it.  I have, by the way, asked the same question in the general forum with no answer.

Actually, it's a pretty easy fix to accomplish what you are asking.  It can be done with just a couple of common household tools.  Most Titan owners have a ball peen hammer and a broom somewhere in the garage.

Turn the headllamps and the fogs on.  Go to the front of the truck, begin striking the offending headlamps with the hammer until success is achieved.  Voila, you have just what you desired.

Oh yeah, use the broom to sweep up the evidence of idiocy.

Worked fine for me!

We would still like the ability to USE the headlights if we wanted to.  Maybe we should just duck tape Mag lights in the broken headlight sockets??

I didn't have to use the headlight sockets,  I duct taped mag lights (the 37 "D" cell model) into the fog light openings.  I got rid of those pesky FACTORY fog lights.  Thanks for the idea!!

(Crap, this is getting downright silly)

Thanks for the laugh majorKAP.

Got a brother that makes a living at this kind of shiznit. I'll ask. Saw some neon halo lights to go in the fog light hole on Ebay. Wasn't Titan only. Didn't want to loose the installation time and then have to get the hammer & broom out.  Anybody seen em installed?
