 | Dyno'd at MTI (Motorsport Technologies Inc.) in Houston today and was very pleased; however, TQ started dropping at a 45* angle at ~4100 rpm and HP at 5000rpm. FWIW, HP/TQ curve crossed at 260 @ 5250 rpm. Power continued dropping steeply and by 5500 rpm HP was 230 and TQ was 240 - Dyno test ceased at 5600 rpm. Peak HP: 273 @ 5000 rpm Peak TQ: 336 @ 3400 rpm For the record, a stock 99 Vette was: Peak HP: 282 @ 5500 Peak TQ: 291 @ 3800   |

Damn it. I figured shaving 300 rpm off the first 3 gears shift points, 400 off 4th, & leaving 5th alone would do it. How do I get my seat of the pants dyno recalibrated?

Do you have other info, such as:

 Type of dyno
 Input correction factor
 Temp
 Humidity
 Altitude

Just very curious as it would seem like you are putting out more than 305/375. That's not a bad thing!

 |   It was a comparison on a dyno for output & drive train loss. Weight is not the issue. Surely no one wants any part of a vette. Well, unless it has a boat tied to it.

Have you had the pleasure of driving one?  I got to pilot the Z06 on a closed course at the Texas Motor Speedway and let me say that car had power and handled like it was on rails!  I was blown away that day.

Also, after adding a K&N AirCharger w/ Flowmaster Delta 70 muffler the new Titan no.s are 293 rwhp and 357rwtq.      |
